Riverwalk Regetta

As you might have guessed, winter is our high season because of the fabulous temperature. That means that the swarms of people down here are looking for great stuff to do. Thankfully, the Riverwalk Regetta is establishing a fine tradition right in downtown Bradenton, and it has something for everyone. It’s no surprise that a city that prides itself on beautiful water and beaches has given birth to an event that rises above all other water sporting shows. The Riverwalk Regetta is full of jet skiing, BMX stunts, powerboating and personal water craft shows. Following last year’s unprecedented success, this year’s event is expected to be even better. 80,000 people will jam the area downtown to see concerts and races, experience fine dining and wine tasting, and even see fireworks displays. We pride ourselves on having one of the finest art districts of anywhere in the country. This gives us a more Old World feel than just about anywhere in the USA. Each year in March, teams of kids and other creative individuals take to the streets to demonstrate their art prowess.
